Pick Transfer Request is used to fulfill a transfer request for inventory by a stocking location, generating a transfer to change the issue location for the selected inventory. Until the inventory is received at the destination, it is assigned a new inventory status of the type In Transit. Identifying information from the transfer request is displayed and the requested part numbers are shown as a checklist against which to pick.
Transfers generated when picking the request can be automatically received at the destination stocking point if that stocking point is set to allow automatic receipts and Auto Receive is selected when the transfer request is picked.
