Creating a Work Order on TH6 Mobile

  1. Tap Service then Work Orders from the main screen menu.
  2. Tap on the top right of the Work Orders screen. Tap Yes on the confirmation message.
  3. Enter, scan, or lookup the Item ID requiring service. The Part Number, Description, and Serial Number for the item will be displayed.
  4. Set the general work order information.
    1. Optionally tap Ready to Approve. The work order will automatically be approved when saved if no approval process is configured.
    2. Select a Priority for the work order to be created.
    3. Select a requested Status.
    4. Add any Notes.
  5. Tap To Do at the top of the screen to define the type of service for this work order.
    1. Select the Task most closely related to the requested service.
    2. Optionally schedule the work order by entering a Scheduled Date and select a user in the Assigned To list.
    3. Optionally add Vendor information.
  6. Add photos to explain the problem, if desired. Photos are saved as attachments on the work order.
    1. Tap Photos at the top of the screen.
    2. Add each picture to the work order.
      1. Select the picture to attach to the work order.
        • Tap at the top right of the screen to take a photo using the device's camera.
        • Tap at the top right of the screen to select a picture on the device.
      2. Enter the Description for the picture and tap OK.
  7. Tap at the top right to save the work order. Tap OK on the confirmation message. The Work Order No will be displayed on the Home tab.
