Creating a Work Order on TH6 Mobile
- Tap Service then Work Orders from the main screen menu.
- Tap
on the top right of the Work Orders screen. Tap Yes on the confirmation message.
- Enter, scan, or lookup the Item ID requiring service. The Part Number, Description, and Serial Number for the item will be displayed.
- Set the general work order information.
- Optionally tap Ready to Approve. The work order will automatically be approved when saved if no approval process is configured.
- Select a Priority for the work order to be created.
- Select a requested Status.
- Add any Notes.
- Tap To Do at the top of the screen to define the type of service for this work order.
- Select the Task most closely related to the requested service.
- Optionally schedule the work order by entering a Scheduled Date and select a user in the Assigned To list.
- Optionally add Vendor information.
- Add photos to explain the problem, if desired. Photos are saved as attachments on the work order.
- Tap Photos at the top of the screen.
- Add each picture to the work order.
- Select the picture to attach to the work order.
- Tap
at the top right of the screen to take a photo using the device's camera.
- Tap
at the top right of the screen to select a picture on the device.
- Tap
- Enter the Description for the picture and tap OK.
- Select the picture to attach to the work order.
- Tap
at the top right to save the work order. Tap OK on the confirmation message. The Work Order No will be displayed on the Home tab.
