Installing ToolHound Mobile from Apple App Store or Android Play

You need connectivity over WIFI (or a SIM card) and either a Google or Apple account to access the store of your choice.
Installing the software is similar on both iOS and Android platforms.
- Look for ToolHound 6 in the Play Store for Android devices or in the App Store for Apple devices. Follow the instructions specific to each platform to install the ToolHound 6 Mobile app.
Location permission should be turned on to enable the collection of GPS coordinates and Last Seen dates for use with the Inventory Map.
- The first time the ToolHound 6 Mobile app is launched after it is installed, it will need to be configured with your ToolHound Server and Company Alias. Be sure to include http:// or https:// as required. If you do not know this information, contact your internal ToolHound administrator or IT personnel.
For ToolHound Cloud subscribers, use https://www.mytoolhound.com for the ToolHound Server.

after entering the required information. - Tap
to return to the log in screen. Once the server and company alias are configured, this screen will not appear again on the device at log in.
Should your ToolHound Server or Company Alias change in the future, these settings can be modify in the Settings by clicking the gear icon at the top right.
