Emailing Reports

Any report can be sent by email to one or more users or entities where the email address is configured or any manually entered email address.

  1. Launch the desired report.
  2. Enter any desired quick Filters and any Advanced Filters or select from any saved filters.
  3. Select the Email tab. The Attachment File Type defaults to PDF. If desired, this can be changed to Excel.
  4. Edit the default email Subject if required.
  5. Add any Notes to be included in the body of the email.
  6. Specify one or more recipients for the report.
    1. Click to the right of Add User to select from a list of users with email addresses. The user name and email address is added to the User List immediate below.
    2. Click to the right of Add Entity to select from a list of personnel and non-stocking locations with email addresses. The entity name and email address is added to the Entity List immediate below.
    A location with both Billing and Shipping email addresses will appear in the lookup twice - once for each address.
    1. Type an email address in the text box to the right of Add Recipient and click . The email address is added to the Recipient List immediately below.
  7. Click to send the report to all selected email addresses.

On-Premise installations must have the Email Settings configured in order to send any type of email from within ToolHound.
