Why can't I issue or transfer an Item ID?
If you receive a message that a particular Item ID can't be issued or transferred, there are a few possible reasons:
Bulk or Consumable parts
Cause | Solutions |
When issuing or transferring, the quantity on hand might be insufficient. |

When transferring, the destination stocking point might be outside the visibility of the part number |
|
Serialized items
Cause | Solutions |
When issuing or transferring, the item is issued. |
|
When transferring, the destination stocking point might be outside the visibility of the part number |
|
When issuing, the inventory status is not In Stock or an equivalent inventory status with the Can Issue flag |
|
When transferring, the inventory status is not In Stock or an equivalent inventory status with the Can Transfer flag |
|
Contact Support if these don't resolve the problem.
