Looking Up a Serialized Item

- Click Inventory > Serialized Items.
- Enter the search criteria by typing in one or more text fields and / or selecting values from lists.
To view only inactive items, click the Active checkbox twice so that the box is empty. To view all items, both active and deactivated, click the Active checkbox once so that a dash appears in the checkbox.
- Click
in the edit tool bar to search for the inventory or equipment.
- If only one match exists, that record is automatically displayed.
- When there are multiple possible matches, the list of part numbers is displayed in a grid. The first row of the grid is converted into edit mode. Either double-click to select a record or refine the search further by entering search text in the first row of the grid. Click any column header in the grid to sort the records in ascending/descending order.
You can also find a serialized item on a blank Part Numbers page by typing the Item ID as a filter and clicking on the edit toolbar. Select the Items tab to view the summary row for the item. Double-click the Item ID to view the Serialized Items page.
