System Report Update

For administrators only. System Reports Update, on the menu under Reporting, allows for updates to tables and reports when directed by an administrator or ToolHound support.

Import Custom Reports

This can be used to create reports based on custom SQL queries in a XML wrapper instead of using the built in report types. The file can be edited and re-imported as often as you like provided that the name doesn’t change.

Please note the naming convention for columns to be included in the report – tableName_columnName. The Alias and column name should match except for . = _.

This could also be used to import a report that uses the built-in report types by specifying the type and not including the query.

For On Premise installations, a custom layout template could also be added to a report by specifying the template that was created and putting the template .repx file in the Reports folder of the installation path.

When reports are imported, access is automatically granted to all roles. If required, modify the role to tailor access to individual reports.
