Setting Initial Service Details for Serialized Items

Generally tasks for service requirements are set on the part number. The details of the last service for each unique tool or piece of equipment is then entered on the item in order to forecast the date or reading for the next service.
- Click the Service Requirements tab for the appropriate item record.
- Select the Task to be updated.
- Enter the Last Service Date, Last Reading Date and Last Service Reading, as applicable for the specified task. The Service Due Date and Service Due Reading will be immediately updated depending on the values entered.
- Click
to save the service task.
Last Service details can also be imported using the Serialized Service Tasks option on the Import Data page.
