Picking a Transfer Request

Watch this video walk through of picking a transfer request on TH6 Mobile.
A transfer request must be set to Approved before it can be picked.
  1. Click Locations in the left side menu, then click Pick Transfer Request.
  2. Enter the Transfer Request No or other information to pre-filter then click to search for the request and double click a transfer to pick.
  3. Review the information.
  • If the To Location is configured to automatically receive transfers, you can optionally select Auto Receive to generate the transfer receipt as well as the transfer when saving.
  1. Click the Details tab.
  2. Set the transfer details.
    1. Uncheck the Use Current Date & Time? box to use a different date/time than the present, if needed.
    2. Select the Billing Location when using the Transfer Rental module. The Transfer Rate Sheet will be populated automatically. To use a different billing date, uncheck Billing Date Same as Transfer Date/Time? and enter the desired values.
    3. Select the Inventory Status to be applied to the inventory until it is received from the drop down menu.
    4. Select a Transfer Type if needed.
    5. Select Print after saving? to generate a Packing Slip when the transfer is created.
  3. Pick the inventory to be transferred.
    1. Optionally select Pick all non-serialized to add all consumables, bulk, and non-stock items in the required quantities to the grid.
      1. Enter the Container No where the item is stored for transport, if required.
    2. Pick each item ID for the request.
      1. Enter the ID in the Item ID field and the Quantity Transferred then click . This information will be copied to the grid below the corresponding part number. The Quantity Picked and Balance in the grid are updated.
      2. Enter the Container No where the item is stored for transport, if required.
    If included, the container will be included on the Packing Slip when printed. If there are multiple containers on the transfer, a separate page will be printed for each container.
To substitute a replacement for any part number on the transfer request, enter the Substitute Part Item ID to the right of the part number in the grid.
  1. Click to process. A confirmation message shows the transfer number generated.
