Merging a Part Number

Merge Part Number should be used with caution. Once a part number is merged, it cannot be undone. See Merging a Part Number for the consequences of merging part numbers.
  1. Click Inventory in the left side menu bar, then click Merge Part Number.
  2. Click  in the edit tool bar to add a new record.
  3. Type or lookup to select the Part No to merge in the Merge From section. When selected, the Description will be displayed. This is the part number that will no longer exist.
  4. Type or lookup to select the Part No to merge in the Into section. When selected, the Description will be displayed. This is the part number that will remain.
  5. Click to proceed. Click Yes to process the part number merge or No to cancel.
