Editing Custom Fields

Once custom fields are in use, you can only modify how they behave on the Custom Fields tab by changing whether they are Required or the Default Value. For custom fields for part numbers or serialized items (inventory item), part number and category for which the field is displayed can be edited.
Field captions can be changed like any other caption or label.
- Click Utilities > Custom Fields to look up the custom field to edit.
- Make the required changes.
- Click
to save the record.
