Release Notes for update version 6.2026.223.0

This is a partial list of enhancements and fixes included with this release.

This release includes an update for the ToolHound Mobile app. Ensure your server is updated before updating your mobile device. Once TH6 Mobile is installed, clear any locally cached data after logging in by tapping the stacked Menu icon then tap About and tap the trash bin in the upper right corner.

NEW FEATURES

Browser
  • For On Premise installations on Azure,
    • Support of Signal Tenant Mode has been added for Azure AD authentication. Add the line "TenantId": "xxx" to appsettings.json in the Authentication:Microsoft section, replacing xxx with the Tenant ID.
    • Support for non-default CallbackPath values has been added. Add the line "CallbackPath": "xxx" to appsettings.json in the Authentication:Microsoft section, replacing xxx with the relative (not fully qualified) path beginning with /.
  • The Tool Browser has been added to search your entire inventory of part numbers and serialized items from a single screen. Find it on the menu under Inventory.

ENHANCEMENTS

Browser
  • Serialized Items now displays the custom colour selected for the inventory status.
  • Receive Transfer lookup search results popup now includes columns for Transfer Request No and Transfer Notes.
  • Transaction Rate Sheets exported to Excel now include the average cost.
Mobile
  • Upgraded to .NET 10 framework for improved performance, UI, security, and to support future development.
  • Personnel Certifications tab now shows a count of the number of certifications.
  • Requisitions now supports copying an existing requisition from the list by left-swiping
  • Issued Items now displays the total item IDs issued at the top left in the header row for the list.

Fixes

Browser
  • Issued Assets report would duplicate serialized items when both the item and part number had manufacturers recorded.
  • Transfer Receipts showed the user who created the transfer rather than the user who received the transfer.
  • Partial Billing (Transaction Rental) was incorrectly calculating charges for rate sheets where the combination of both Skip Weekends & Holidays and Calendar Month were selected.
  • The ability to import ToolHound 5 databases has been removed.
  • Receive Inventory could over-receive by not correctly updating the Balance in certain circumstances.
  • Saved Filters for reports didn't display the comparison operator when retrieved.
Mobile
  • Pick Requisition would not select reserved parts when Pick All Non-serialized Items was tapped.
  • Requisitions would not display existing records.
  • Kits issued by picking a requisition didn't issue serialized items in the kit, resulting in items stuck in limbo because they couldn't be returned.
  • Receive Inventory displayed an error when receiving consumable inventory before serialized on receipt with both inventory types.
  • Settings for numeric keypads and Due Dates were not consistent.
  • Return to Home tab after saving was removed from the Settings as it wasn't used.
  • Some saved transactions or documents were not saving the cart contents.
  • Saved non-closed counts couldn't be edited on iOS.
  • Counts on Mobile would increase the Start Date by 1 day each time the count was saved.
