Release Notes for update version 6.2026.617.0

This is a partial list of enhancements and fixes included with this release.

This release includes an update for the ToolHound Mobile app (6.2026.0616). Ensure your server is updated before updating your mobile device. Once TH6 Mobile is installed, clear any locally cached data after logging in by tapping the stacked Menu icon then tap About and tap the trash bin in the upper right corner.

Enhancement Highlights

NEW FEATURES

Browser
  • Import Data now supports importing
    • Transfer Requests
    • Check Lists
    • Custom Picklist lookup values
  • Passkeys are now supported for user logins.
    • For Cloud subscribers this is already configured and user can add their own passkeys.
    • For On Premise subscribers this must be configured before users can add passkeys.
  • *Count Details* report is now available under the Inventory reports. This is similar to the Count and Count Discrepancy reports but displays the quantity counted for each item ID and the user counted by for open or closed counts. Only counted item rows are included.
Mobile
  • TH6 Mobile now supports two factor authentication on both Android and iOS for each login. Whether users configure 2FA in the browser or in the Mobile app, it now applies to all logins.
Features denoted with * are granted to all roles automatically. Edit all roles to set the appropriate permissions.

ENHANCEMENTS

Browser
  • Tool Browser now supports search date fields by yyyy-mm-dd as well as MMM dd, yyyy
  • Part Numbers Stocking Points tab now has an additional Total row displayed at the top of the grid for quick reference. The Total row at the bottom of the grid stays frozen so that the Total is always visible in environments where there are multiple stocking points or complex location hierarchies.
  • Check Lists now has an audit panel for consistency with other pages showing Created User & Date, Source, Imported, and Modified User & Date.
  • Serialized Items now bolds the Purchase Rental Information tab when there is any information regardless of whether there is a cost.
  • Meter Readings now displays a warning if the reading number is lower than the last meter reading for the combination of item ID and meter.
  • Locations now includes
  • Purchase Orders now permit a 0.00 Unit Cost to support vendor promotions (BOGO, etc.). A warning will be displayed if the cost is entered as 0.00 however the PO can still be created and approved. This applies whether or not Allow Adding Same Part No is selected and on purchase order imports.
  • Authentication Settings now include an option to Force SSO Sign Out when logging out or closing the Mobile app for environments where Android or iOS devices are shared. This setting is off by default.

Reporting Enhancements

  • All columnar (non-templated) reports now show the quick and advanced filters in the header below the report title for the preview and in the top row when the Excel output is selected.
  • All columnar (non-templated) reports now include line breaks in Notes fields for PDF previews, previews sent to Excel, and Excel output.
  • All right-aligned (numeric) report columns now have additional padding to improve readability. This applies to standard and duplicated customized reports.
  • Tasks report now includes the associated check list, if applicable.
  • Transaction Receipts now include the serial number under the Item ID.
Mobile
  • Issue/Return now includes an option to fetch a list of issued items for return transactions. This behaves similarly to clicking Issued Inventory when processing a return or reassigning assets in the browser. Tap on the toolbar after selecting the transaction type and entity.
  • TH6 Mobile, when using SSO, can force the logout from the SSO account when closing or logging out of the app.

Fixes

Browser
  • Transfer Rate Sheets would display an error if changing only the visibility and no details.
  • Work Orders would not include check lists when printing if they were created using Service Due and immediately printed.
  • Unapproving Transaction Requisitions was not removing the reserved quantity.
  • Transaction Requisitions and Purchase Orders would permit adding inactive part numbers.
  • jQuery Validate was updated to version 1.22.1
  • Import Data displayed errors for Personnel and Purchase Requisitions.
  • Purchase Orders could be over received in certain situations, including when the PO was left open in one page when using Receive Inventory and subsequently attempted to save the PO.
  • Dashboards better handle
    • changes in date ranges and relative dates (TODAY, LAST MONTH, etc.).
    • changes in the number of rows when editing the dashboard.
  • Transaction History tab for multiple pages didn't handle the All option for Select number of records well.
  • Packing Slips for transfers would inverse the From Location and To Location labels for new accounts only.
  • Close Count was not properly updating Last Count dates for kit contents. See this article for changes to Serialized Kits & Counts.
Mobile
  • Pick Requisitions would crash when loading requisitions with more than 200 lines.
  • Personnel was not respecting the visibility of the user or the entity's visibility when filtering the list of available supervisors.
  • The Menu (hamburger) icon would sometimes freeze the application on iOS only. The behaviour of the menu on both Android and iOS has changed to remove the flyout behaviour.
  • Improved handling of timeouts and general improvements to prevent the Mobile app freezing.
