About Service Due

Service Due is part of the add-on Service module. It is used to both view tools coming due for service based on the filters you select and generate batches of work orders with the same status and priority. The two types of tasks are handled separately:

Only items having service due but no associated open work order will be displayed.
Work Order generated using Service Due will have no flags. If you are using notifications, specify the Created event for these new work orders.

Notifications can be set up to advise of items coming due for service or newly-created work orders and combined with approvals to create a customized workflow process for your organization.
