Updated by Cheryl Wallace

Completed work orders can be closed. A work order cannot be closed if it has not been approved.

  1. Look up the work order to close under Service > Work Orders.
  2. Select a Status with a closed state. This is usually Completed but might vary.
  3. Click the Completion tab.
  4. Enter the details related to the completion of this work order.
    1. Enter an optional Failure Code if the repair cannot be completed.
    2. Enter any notes in the Work Done text box.
    3. Enter a Meter Reading and Meter if this is a reading only service task.
    4. Modify the Closed Date for the work order if it should be something other than today.
  5. Click to save the work order record.
