Deleting Part Numbers

Deleting a part number sends it, and all associated items, to the Recycle Bin. Part Numbers with any type of associated history cannot be permanently deleted from the Recycle Bin.
When a record is deleted but remains in the Recycle Bin, that part number can be reused. If the part number has been reused on a different record, when the part number in the Recycle Bin is restored, "-1" will be added to end the part number. If this happens multiple times, the number after the dash will increase.
- Look up the part number to edit under Inventory > Part Numbers.
- Select the Part Number to delete and click
on the edit tool bar. - Click OK to delete. Clicking Cancel instead of OK will cancel the delete operation.
