About Databases Utilities

Database Utilities is used to run operations to improve the performance of your ToolHound database when experiencing frequent timeouts in the browser. These two options are useful for timeout prevention however they should not be run frequently.

Use these functions only when recommended by the Support team or when experiencing frequent timeouts in the browser.
In both cases, these operations should only be run during off peak hours.

Rebuild All Indexes

Click to rebuild all indexes and update all statistics.

Update All Statistics

Click to update all statistics. This is not necessary if Rebuild All Indexes was just run.

For On Premise installations, these operations are generally performed directly on the database server.
