Release Notes for version 6.2024.1009.0

This is a partial list of enhancements and fixes included with this release.

*Minor patch applied to ToolHound 6 Cloud after 6.2024.918.0. No update notice.

This release includes an update for the ToolHound Mobile app for Android and iOS. Ensure your server is updated before updating your mobile device. For iOS devices, uninstall ToolHound Mobile before installing the new version.

Enhancement Highlights

ENHANCEMENTS

Browser
  • The edit toolbar now disables rather than hides options not available to facilitate navigating through records for a filtered list.

Reporting Enhancements

  • The Serialized Kit Content report now indicates whether a kit is dissolvable.
  • The Inventory by Location report now includes an advanced filter for Vendors which applies to the Last Vendor for the part number. These columns are also available to add to duplicated reports.
  • The Low Inventory report now includes advanced filters for Inventory Vendors and Vendors which applies to those flagged as Primary on the Part Number Vendors tab. These columns are also available to add to duplicated reports and only data for those flagged as Primary on the Part Number Vendors tab will contain data.
Mobile
  • Barcode scanning has been optimized when using the device camera on smart phones and tablets. New options include toggling the flashlight, vibrate on read, and switching to front camera.

Fixes

Browser
  • Login would not respect Remember Me for SSO when both password (local) logins and external logins (SSO) are in use.
  • Receive Inventory could display an error on saving for specific conditions after using Receiving Outstanding.
  • Transaction Requisition report
    • was printing the Bin / Shelf column contents overlapping the left column divider.
    • was not printing part numbers without categories.
Mobile
  • Multiple changes to accommodate handling of images on iOS.
  • Issue / Return would add barcodes to the Cart when they were scanned on the Notes tab. Only the Scan button on the device can be used to scan barcodes into the Notes field.
  • Change Item ID
    • was replacing the Item ID to change with the New Item ID when scanning using the device Scan button. Did not affect scanning using the device camera (Scan icon).
    • keyboard was not respecting the Settings for the Item ID.
  • Pick Requisition could lose the list of picked items when moving between Part Number list and the Picked list then back.
  • Pick Request could lose the list of picked items when moving between Part Number list and the Picked list then back.
  • Receive Inventory was not displaying the label for the PO Number on the filter row.
  • Scanning into the Notes fields would attempt to add the items to the Cart or update the Cart, depending on the task.
