Adding a Service Request

  1. Click Service in the left side menu bar and click Service Requests.
  2. Click to add a new service request.
  3. Enter the Item ID requiring service. The item's Part Number, Description, and Serial Number will be displayed.
  4. Select Task that best describes the required service.
If a Recommended Vendor is associated with the task, it will be displayed. This can be overridden.
  1. Select the Priority and the Status.
  2. Type a description of the Problem that expands on the selected task.
  3. Click to save the service request. The Work Order No. will be assigned and the Created Date and Created By details will be populated.
The Work Order No. is hyperlinked. Click the caption to view the work order details.
