Release Notes for update version 6.2025.813.0

This is a partial list of enhancements and fixes included with this release.

This release includes an update for the ToolHound Mobile app. Ensure your server is updated first before updating your mobile device. Once TH6 Mobile is installed, clear any locally cached data after logging in by tapping the stacked Menu icon then tap About and tap the trash bin in the upper right corner.

Enhancement Highlights

NEW FEATURES

Browser
  • *Custom Picklists are used to add your own predefined lists, similar to units of measure or departments.
  • *Custom Fields are now available as an alternative to user fields and have an extended range of formatted data fields.
Mobile
Once TH6 Mobile is installed, clear any locally cached data after logging in by tapping the stacked Menu icon then tapping About and tapping the trash bin in the upper right corner of the screen .
  • The Inventory *Map is now available under Inventory.
This version of TH6 Mobile does not support the CS108 RFID reader.
Features denoted with * are granted to all roles automatically. Edit all roles to set the appropriate permissions.
API
  • InventoryID_GetPagedListForSync is now available.
  • User now have PATCH calls to update records.

ENHANCEMENTS

Browser
  • Transactions now show the part number picture for each item ID on the Details tab.
  • Roles is now more clear on Mobile versus browser roles. The Mobile group header is bolded and Mobile menu entry rows are shaded.
  • Serialized Item's Work Order History tab now
    • includes the Meter and Meter Reading for tasks requiring a reading.
    • does not display the Requested Date. The Modified Date remains.

Reporting Enhancements

  • Work Order report now
    • includes a section for Approvals listing each approver and the approval date.
    • for closed (Completed) work orders
      • includes the user who closed the work order and close date
      • does not show Required Tools and Required Materials
    • shows Tools Used for non-consumables issued to the work order for approved and closed work orders.
  • Personnel Certifications report now displays the craft and it is available as an advanced filter.
  • Transfer Requests Back Orders report now
    • includes additional columns for the QOH, On Order, and Bin
    • includes the InventoryLocation fields to the Advanced Filters
  • Purchase Order report now includes the ability to add Inventory Type columns to the report when exported only.
  • Transaction Receipts now displays the Due Date for issues.
Mobile
  • Reassign Assets now saves captured signatures with both the Return and Issue transactions.

Fixes

Browser
  • After running a report, the browser would freeze under certain circumstances.
  • Scheduled Report would display "Language file could not be found" error in some cases.
  • Receive Inventory page would have inconsistent results when clicking Clear.
  • Issue / Return did not handle the return of incomplete kits the same way when selecting the kit Item ID from the Issued Inventory list as when entering the kit Item ID.
  • The Part Number Vendors tab was not filtering the stocking points by the user's visibility.
  • Purchase Order imports were not correctly handling PO Dates when a time component was included in the PO Date column. Time is now disregarded.
  • The Work Order report would not use captions changed on subsections for Charges, Labor, etc.
  • Work Orders were not properly saving meters for meter readings as they were closed.
  • Editing the Part Number for a serialized kit would prevent the kit contents from being displayed for each item.
  • Duplicating a requisition would retain the sub job if the job was removed.
  • Serialized Items search was optimized to prevent "Cannot retrieve data" errors.
Mobile
  • Reassign Assets was not working.
