Change a User's Password

You can change the password for any user when the user has forgotten their password and cannot reset their password by email.

If the user has their email address entered and your ToolHound installation is configured to send automatic emails, users can reset their passwords themselves on the login page of the browser or TH6 Mobile.

  1. Lookup the User under Utilities > Users.
  2. Type the new Password.
  3. Click to save the change.
Passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters. Passwords are case sensitive and must include both an upper and lower case character, a number, and a special character.
To reset the password for the ToolHound administrator, either use Forgot / Reset Password or contact Support.
