Update Item Locations from TOOL CONNECT Site Manager

Once you have given permission, use Update Item Locations to retrieve inventory location coordinates from TOOL CONNECT Site Manager as frequently as you desire. All items in TOOL CONNECT Site Manager that have a Bar Code or Inventory Number match an Item ID in ToolHound will be updated.

The Bar Code takes precedent over an Inventory Number. If there is a Bar Code, the Inventory Number is ignored.
  1. Click Location Services on the left side menu bar then click Dewalt.
  2. Click Update Item Locations to the right of the page. Once the data has been retrieved, the number of records updated will be displayed.
To view the physical location retrieved for an item, search the item under Inventory > Serialized Items. The Last Seen pane is displayed at the bottom right of the General tab. This pane contains the GPS coordinates and a map pin icon. To view the location on a map, click the map pin icon.
