What does "Invalid Location" mean?
The error "Invalid Location" is most commonly seen when importing. Possible causes are
- A location name was entered when the location ID is required.
- The location is not active.
- The location does not exist or an incorrect Location ID was entered.
- The location is outside the visibility of the related data in the import (part number, personnel, transaction, serialized item, purchase order, work order, etc.)
To resolve this, update the import spreadsheet with the correct data and reimport.
If this doesn't apply or doesn't resolve the problem, email Support including a screenshot of the screen showing the error and describe what you were doing when it occurred. This will help us troubleshoot the problem for you.
