Release Notes for version 6.2021.8.9

This is a partial list of enhancements and fixes included with this release.

This release includes an update for the ToolHound Mobile app. Ensure your server is updated before updating your mobile device.

Enhancement Highlights

  • Transaction Rental module improvements and optimizations
  • Multiple reporting improvements
    • Exporting of large reports has been optimized
    • Custom reports have been generally improved
    • Changed “Like” comparison to “Contains” for clarity
    • Cosmetic changes to multiple reports
    • New Inventory Certifications report
  • Usability improvements
    • Keyboard shortcuts (hotkeys) for tool bar (Alt+[letter])
    • Notes tabs are bolded throughout the application when there is information
    • Warning and error messages are more visible.
    • Errors are now accompanied by a sound.
    • Serialized Item – add hyperlink to kit if item is in a kit
    • Automatic loading of a record where there is a single match
  • Serialized Items - add Manufactured Date
  • Transfers now have the option to Use Current Date
  • Transactions - add highlight to outstanding issues
  • Issue / Return – can now issue “dissolving” kits
  • TH6 Mobile
    • Change Password option has been added to the stacked menu
    • Forgot / Reset Password option has been added to the Login page
    • Receive Inventory has been added
    • Now uses the same default Return Status as the browser

Fixes

  • Corrections to data imports data for
    • Personnel Certifications
    • clearer error messages for failed imports
  • Better handling of meter readings for service tasks
  • Transaction Receipts and Transaction Activity reports now displaying the correct returned quantity
  • Transaction Receipts now showing the Return Status
  • Receive Inventory correctly handles the Conversion Factor for costs and quantities
  • Work Order does not require a meter reading to close a task based on issues
  • Add permission in roles does not allow editing unless edit permission also enabled
  • TH6 Mobile better recognizes captions that are changed in the browser
