Release Notes for version 6.2023.3.29

This is a partial list of enhancements and fixes included with this release.

This release includes an update for the ToolHound Mobile app. Ensure your server is updated before updating your mobile device.

Enhancement Highlights

NEW FEATURE

  • The Message panel has been added to the Home page to display static information to users.

Enhancements

  • Issue / Return now
    • includes the kit ID in the confirmation message asking if the kit is complete.
    • displays the serial number in the Item ID lookup
  • The Issued Assets Email now includes the entity ID after the entity name and includes the name for non-stocking entities.
  • Work Orders now
    • display the Work To Do tab in red when adding a new work order and the task has not yet been selected.
    • displays Problem rather than Requested Problem on the Request tab for clarity.
  • Reassign Assets now supports attachments for the return and issue transactions and each line item.
  • Service Request
    • Requested Problem has been updated to Problem for clarity.
    • now indicates if the request is approved.
    • now displays the Recommend Vendor associated with a task.
  • Transfer Request Details tab now includes a Balance column.
  • Counts now support adding attachments.
  • Change Inventory Type now supports changing to inventory types with the same definition.
  • Inventory Bar Codes now include the Serial Number on the bottom row.
  • Purchase Requisitions now include an Ordered column on the Details tab.
  • Mobile
    • Counts
      • Count now has new options when left-swiping on an item ID row: Clear removes the quantity counted and Zero Count explicitly sets the quantity counted to 0.
      • Entering or scanning an item ID scrolls to that list entry.
    • Ignore count warnings? flag has been added to the Settings. When turned on, will not display Item not in count and Item is from another stocking point warnings.
    • Requisitions now includes the Unit of Measure in the Part Number lookup when adding a new requisition.
    • Pick Requisition now
      • Sorts the inventory to pick in order by description then part number.
      • Entering or scanning an item ID on the Requested tab scrolls the associated part number into view.
      • Entering or scanning an item ID on the Part Number view inserts that item ID at the top of the list.

Fixes

  • Transfer Rental was not ended when transferring to a stocking location not on a rate sheet.
  • Pick Transfer Request was not properly handling Billing Dates different from the Transfer Date.
  • Change Inventory Type was not properly handling serialized parts with no item IDs.
  • Transaction History
    • for Part Numbers and Personnel was not displaying the correct count of transactions displayed for users with limited visibility.
    • for Part Numbers was not displaying Purchase Requisitions.
  • Counts were not correctly handling alternate IDs.
  • Transaction History for Part Numbers and Serialized Items was displaying the Created Date for transfers rather than the Transfer Date.
  • Expanding an unsaved new job would displays sub jobs from other jobs.
  • Purchase Order was not recognizing part numbers containing / or _ symbol when manually entered or selected using the Add Detail lookup.
  • Merge Part Number was not working correctly if the part number being merged had previously had the inventory type changed.
  • Transfer Charges would not permit the selection of job, sub job, and cost code for manual charges.
  • Create Requisition would create duplicate documents when clicking Save multiple times in rapid succession.
  • Reports
    • containing the Bin or Bin Shelf used incorrect spacing when printed from Scheduled Reports.
    • Shortcut menu was not respecting role permissions.
    • Packing Slips did not display cost codes originating from transfer request detail lines.
  • Mobile
    • Serialized items in kits were not prevented from being issued separately from the kit.
    • Counts were not correctly handling alternate IDs.
    • Could not receive transfers in certain cases.
