About Transaction Types

Updated by Cheryl Wallace

Transaction types define how inventory changes status as a result of transactions. This feature is used to

  • create variants of the basic transaction types (Issue, Return, Sold) with differing descriptions and combinations of inventory statuses.
  • configure the order in which transaction types are displayed in the browser and the Mobile app.
Properly configured transaction types help maintain accurate inventory tracking and improve operational efficiency.
Before making any changes to or adding any transaction types, contact ToolHound Support.
