Change the Stocking Location for an item

Occasionally a serialized item will be added to an incorrect stocking location. Once a serialized item is created, the stocking point cannot be edited or changed. Usually assets and tools are intentionally transferred from on stocking point to another. You can also move quantities for a bulk or consumable part to a different stocking point using a transfer.
To change the stocking location on an item use a transfer.
- First create a transfer from the current stocking location to the correct / new stocking location.
- Receive the transfer the correct / new stocking location to complete the transfer.
