Change the Description on a Tool or Other Inventory

All inventory with the same part number shares the same description. At any time you can change the description linked to the part number to correct it or add details to make it more clear.

  1. Lookup the part number under Inventory > Part Numbers.
  2. Edit the Description to make any desired changes
  3. Click to save the change.
Individual tools cannot have their own unique descriptions. Consider creating a separate part number if the tools are dissimilar.
