About the Map on TH6 Mobile

The Inventory Map displays the physical location for each serialized item with a Last Seen date and GPS coordinate. Use this feature to get an overview of all inventory, inventory in a specific area, or search to pinpoint individual items. The left side of the screen shows a list of item IDs and descriptions for inventory appearing in the map area to the right.
GPS coordinates and Last Seen Date are recorded when
- an issue or return transaction is saved on the TH6 Mobile app.
- an item is counted on the TH6 Mobile app.
- GPS coordinates from Hapn GPS are reported to ToolHound.
Navigating the map
Tap the pin for any item ID in the list in the left to highlight the item's location on the map and view the popup overview of the item showing the Item ID, Description, Part Number, Serial Number, Stocking Point, Category, Sub Category, Inventory Status, and Last Seen. Tap off the popup to close it. Tap anywhere on the map to remove the highlight.

Repositioning the map filters and updates the list of item IDs on the left. To position the map, either
- use two fingers to position the viewable area
- use + or - at the bottom right to zoom in or zoom out.
How to find inventory
- Tap
at the top right. - To find a specific Item ID, enter it. Alternatively, select any combination of Description, Category, Sub Category, Inventory Status, and Stocking Point.
- Tap
return to the Map. - Reposition the map to target a specific area or zone.
