Changing an Item Status from a Work Order

Change Item Status can be launched from the work order for any open approved work orders. The same validations for the item status apply: the item ID cannot be deleted, issued, or in transit.

  1. Look up the work order under Service > Work Orders.
  2. Ensure the work order is already Approved.
  3. Click Change Item Status on the right side of the page under the statuses. The Change Item Status page will be displayed with the Item ID and Original Inventory Status populated.
    1. Select the New Inventory Status.
    2. Enter a Reason.
    3. Click  to save the changes to the item ID's inventory status.​
If a work order is not approved or has been completed, use Change Item Status.
