Release Notes for update version 6.2026.319

This is a partial list of enhancements and fixes included with this release.

This release includes an update for the ToolHound Mobile app. Ensure your server is updated before updating your mobile device. Once TH6 Mobile is installed, clear any locally cached data after logging in by tapping the stacked Menu icon then tap About and tap the trash bin in the upper right corner.

NEW FEATURES

Mobile
Once TH6 Mobile is installed, clear any locally cached data after logging in by tapping the stacked Menu icon then tapping About and tapping the trash bin in the upper right corner of the screen .
  • Work Orders now supports capturing an optional signature when closing a work order.
This version of TH6 Mobile does not support the CS108 RFID reader.

ENHANCEMENTS

Browser
  • Serialized Items now bolds the Purchase Rental Information tab when there is a Cost or Rental Cost.
  • Work Orders now display the optional signature captured on the Mobile app on the Completion tab.
  • Tool Browser now has additional columns for part number costs and serialized item cost.

Reporting Enhancements

  • The Work Order report now displays the optional signature captured on the Mobile app in the Work Done section.
Mobile
  • Serialized Kits are now optimized for faster saving on larger databases.

Fixes

Browser
  • Users with View Only access could edit part numbers when opened from the Serialized Items hyperlink.
  • Kit contents were not being checked for
    • service due when being issued or returned.
    • valid certifications when being issued.
  • When entering values for numeric custom fields, an unhelpful error was displayed if the value entered exceeded the format.
  • Filters for the Tool Browser were not working correctly for numeric and date columns.
  • Clicking thumbnails to view full-sized images did not work correctly in Chrome and Edge.
  • Transfer Rental partial billing was not respecting the Maximum Charge for serialized items when there were multiple edits to the rate sheet over time.

Mobile
  • Certain functions were not recognizing the device scan button for the first barcode or QR code scanned.
