This is a partial list of enhancements and fixes included with this release.

This list includes changes in version 6.2022.6.1 applied to ToolHound Cloud

Enhancement Highlights

  • ToolHound 6 Kiosk is released.
  • Home page includes a link to the main Release Notes help article.
  • Enter can be used to launch a search for information in a single basic text field as an alternative to the hotkey Alt-L.
  • Improved searching by dates.
  • Saved record message bar is now displayed longer.
  • Reassign Assets now includes a badge displaying the total number of item IDs included on the transaction on the Save icon.
  • Part Number
    • Replaced By now has a hyperlink to the replacement part number
    • Kit parts no longer display the service, transaction rental rates, transfer rental rates, and vendors tabs as they do not apply.
    • Vendors tab now includes an active flag
  • Issue / Return now continues to display the service due warning even if a work order has been created for item ID and task until the WO is closed and last service updated.
  • Personnel Transaction History tab has been optimized.
  • Transaction Rates Sheet now includes all data on the Details tab when copying an existing rate sheet in addition to the non-unique header information.
  • Transaction Charges and Transaction On Rent reports when duplicated now have additional column selection blocks for Entity Name and billing location (TransLocation).
  • The Issues report now includes advanced filters for subcategory
  • Change Item Status has been optimized to reduce timeouts.
  • Close Count has been optimized to reduce timeouts.
  • Retired Items now
    • includes a reason field specific to reinstating an item
    • supports additions to the Notes
  • Inventory Adjustments report now includes the reason for reinstated items
  • Purchase Orders now
    • update the details for a part if the vendor is changed to one define on the Part Number Vendor tab for the same stocking point.
    • support notes for each line item.
    • support non stock part numbers.
  • Purchase Order report now displays the notes for each line item.
  • Create Return for Purchasing now
    • includes a retired status to apply to serialized items
    • supports attachments at both the document and item ID level
    • include the currency
  • Inventory Returns for Purchasing
    • now displays the inventory status for retired items and currency on the General tab
    • supports attachments at both the document and item ID level
    • lookup is now ordered by return number
  • Packing Slips now sort details by part number then item ID.
  • Inventory by Location report now
    • includes In Transit Inbound and In Transit Outbound columns
    • excludes In Transit Outbound from the Total calculation to match the Part Numbers Stocking Points tab
  • Back Orders report now
    • includes the extended Total cost
    • is grouped by PO.
  • Tasks defined as reading-only can now only be assigned a non-date meter for reading.
  • Transfer Rates Sheet now includes all data on the Details tab when copying an existing rate sheet in addition to the non-unique header information.
  • Roles
    • Location was renamed to Visibility for clarity.
    • Visibility is now indicated as required.
  • Notifications search results are now ordered alphabetically by document name and the by event in sequential order.
  • Background notifications
    • have been optimized for sending emails.
    • now support specifying a lists of databases to poll for notifications.
  • Create Requisition Parts Catalog now supports combined searching of part number and description.
  • Transaction imports were optimized.
  • Transaction Requisition report now includes the created by date and user on exported files.
  • Duplicated reports now
    • can use the Primary ID explicitly.
    • use more clear table names for groups of columns (removed CamelCase).
  • Command Window now
    • displays SQL errors in red in the message bar
    • displays the number of rows updated in green in the message bar
  • Mobile
    • Item Lookup field order has changed
    • Item Lookup now displays the number of records for QOH, attachments, service, transfer rates, and transaction rates.

Fixes

  • Serialized Item page was not doing an exact match on part number for the Part Number lookup.
  • Create Count had non-functional icons for attachments and printing
  • Personnel
    • with outstanding transactions could be deleted to the Recycle Bin
    • Next and Previous were not working in the Search results dialogue box
  • Part Number
    • Replaced By was not behaving as expected
    • Duplicated parts were retaining the last vendor
  • Purchase Orders
    • weren't flagged as imported
    • weren't using info from part number's Vendors tab if entered
  • Change Item Status was optimized to prevent timeouts
  • Transfer Requests
    • did not permit changing the From Location and other details prior to being approved
    • printed all requests instead of only the transfer request displayed on the page.
  • Transfer All would display an error of Transfer Rental was not licensed.
  • Retired Items was not printing single records using the toolbar.
  • Pick Requisition was not setting the cursor back to the Item ID field after entering an item
  • Tasks defined as reading-only could be created without a meter for reading.
  • Receive Inventory could duplicate receipts if save was repeated clicked rapidly
  • Receiving Slip was not printing headers and footers on pages subsequent to the first.
  • Work Orders were not updating issue-based service requirement tasks on close.
  • Billing Report for Transaction Rental did not reflect caption changes.
  • Duplicated reports
    • were not correctly handling additional filters using contains.
    • had duplicated fields on the Columns tab when the report had headers and footers.
  • Duplicated Back Orders report was only displaying PO details.
  • Duplicated Transaction Charges and Transaction On Rent didn't keep the billing location and entity name columns
  • Duplicated Damaged Tools report was not displaying the correct total cost or the entity.
  • Reports printed from the toolbar did not include the company logo.
  • Consumables report was not displaying transactions using alternate IDs.
  • Import Data was not including the due date for transactions.
  • Mobile
    • was not handling kit IDs correctly for dissolving kits.
    • Issue transactions didn't correctly applying due dates.
    • Manually entered or scanned jobs, sub jobs, and cost codes were not saved.
