About Work Order Types

Work Order Types is used to maintain a customized list of work order types, classified as either preventative maintenance or unplanned maintenance. Work order types are optional references on service work orders and can be color-coded.

Parameters on this screen include:

Work Order Type

Unique description of the work order type.

Color

Optionally select a display color to identify this work order type.

Preventative Maintenance

Indicates planned maintenance.

Unplanned Maintenance

Indicates emergency or unplanned maintenance.

Active

Selected by default. Indicates that the work order type is available for use.
