About Meters

Meters are used to determine when service is due for inventory items. Meters can either be calculated automatically by the system in combination with a frequency (issues or time) or in conjunction with a reading of a level or other measurement. Meter readings can also be triggered by service tasks.

Fields on this tab include:

Meter

Name of the selected meter.

Days

Check indicates a meter that is measured in days.

Weeks

Check indicates a meter that is measured in weeks.

Months

Check indicates a meter that is measured in months.

Years

Check indicates a meter that is measured in years.

Issues

Check indicates a meter that is measured in number of issues.

Non Date

Check indicates a meter that is measured in a non-date format.

Active

Check indicates a meter is available to be used in a task.
