About Meters

Meters are part of the add-on Service module. They are used to determine when service is due for individual items. Meters can either be calculated automatically by the system in combination with a frequency (issues or time) or in conjunction with a reading of a level or other measurement. Meter readings can also be triggered by service tasks.
Fields on this tab include:
Meter | Name of the selected meter. |
Days | Check indicates a meter that is measured in days. |
Weeks | Check indicates a meter that is measured in weeks. |
Months | Check indicates a meter that is measured in months. |
Years | Check indicates a meter that is measured in years. |
Issues | Check indicates a meter that is measured in number of issues. |
Non Date | Check indicates a meter that is measured in a non-date format. |
Active | Check indicates a meter is available to be used in a task. |
