About Meters

Meters are part of the add-on Service module. They are used to determine when service is due for individual items as defined on the service task. Meters can either be calculated automatically by the system in combination with a frequency (issues or time) or in conjunction with a reading of a level or other measurement (such as mileage or pressure). Meter readings can also be triggered by service tasks.

Fields on this tab include:

Meter

Name of the selected meter.

Days

Check indicates a meter that is measured in days.

Weeks

Check indicates a meter that is measured in weeks.

Months

Check indicates a meter that is measured in months.

Years

Check indicates a meter that is measured in years.

Issues

Check indicates a meter that is measured in number of issues.

Non Date

Check indicates a meter that is measured in a non-date format.

Active

Check indicates a meter is available to be used in a task.
