Deleting a Serialized Item

Deleting a serialized item sends it to the Recycle Bin.
Consider retiring the item instead of deleting it if the item has any history associated with it.
- Look up the serialized item under Inventory > Serialized Items.
- Select the Serialized Item to delete and click
in the edit tool bar. - Click OK to delete. Clicking Cancel instead of OK will cancel the delete operation.
Delete items in the Recycle Bin can be permanently deleted if it has no history or it can be restored, if required. An item cannot be permanently removed from the Recycle Bin if it has any associated history.
When a record is deleted but remains in the Recycle Bin, the item ID can be reused. If the item ID is restored from the Recycle Bin when another record was created with the same item ID, the restore item will be prefixed with !!!.
