Close a Project - Entity or Stocking Location

Closing a project can refer to

  • Ending a project set up as a non-stocking location entity where inventory might still be issued (checked out) to the project
    • To close a project set up as a non-stocking location,
      • Return all outstanding inventory.
      • Run any final reports including Rental reports.
      • Make the non-stocking location inactive.

  • Removing (retiring) all inventory at the selected project stocking location at the termination of the project.
    • To close a project set up as stocking location, use Close Project.
