Change the Visibility

Visibility applies to nearly all types of data in ToolHound. It determines what can be seen or accessed by other users, stocking locations, personnel etc.

Changing the visibility by editing the record. This could be the part number, personnel, employer, user, vendor, service task, notification, transaction rate sheet, transfer rate sheet, or another data record with a visibility.

Selecting a visibility higher in the location hierarchy is the most frequent reason to change the visibility.

When selecting a visibility lower in the location hierarchy, there is a potential for data loss. Contact Support to discuss the consequences before making the change.
