About Payment Terms

Payment Terms are part of the add-on Purchasing module. They are used manage a set of standard payment terms on the purchase orders placed with vendors.

The fields on this page are as follows,

Payment Term

The code for the payment term of up to 30 characters.

Description

The full description of the payment term of up to 50 characters.

Active

When active, the payment term is available for use. To discontinue using a payment term, deselect this option.

Watch this video for an understanding of the different pick lists available and the types of data they contain. If you are importing inventory or personnel data, these values need to exist in the system first.
