About Change Item ID on TH6 Mobile

ToolHound 6 Mobile can be used to change the Primary ID of an inventory item when the barcode or RIFD tag is damaged, lost, or otherwise unreadable. The item ID can be changed for any active item in any stocking point within the visibility of the user even if the item is issued or in transit.

The item ID cannot be changed for inactive or retired inventory.

Fields on this screen include:

Item ID

Enter the ID of the item to be changed.

Serial Number

If the Item ID is not available for the item to be changed, enter or scan the serial number.

Part Number

Displays the Part Number of the item entered.

Description

Displays the Description of the item entered.

New Item ID

Enter a new ID for the item.
