Removing a Task from a Part Number

Removing a task from a Part Number prevents it from being inherited as a service requirement by all items added to the part number in the future. The task can still be added directly to individual items for the part. Items' Work Order History will not be affected.
- Look up the part number under Inventory > Part Numbers.
- Select the Tasks tab.
- Click
to the left of the row for the Task to remove. - Click
in the edit tool bar to save the change.
