Change the Visibility for Part Number
Sometimes you need to change the visibility on a part number. The most common reasons for this are
- A user with limited visibility created the part so the new part number isn't available to all stocking locations.
- The visibility was accidentally set to the toolcrib or warehouse stocking point instead of the company-wide non-stocking locations at the top of the location hierarchy.
In these cases where the correct visibility is higher in the location hierarchy,
- Look up the part number under Inventory > Part Numbers.
- Select the correct Visibility and click
on the toolbar.
