Release Notes for version 6.2024.612.0

This is a partial list of enhancements and fixes included with this release.

*Minor patch applied to ToolHound 6 Cloud after 6.2024.520.0. No update notice.

* Includes minor patch 6.2024.530.0.

This release includes an update for the ToolHound Mobile app. Ensure your server is updated before updating your mobile device.

On Premise installations updating from versions prior to 6.2024.5xx can require a change to the appsettings.json depending on your SQL Server configuration. This is due to a breaking change from Microsoft. If this is not addressed, an error message will be displayed and users will not be able to log in.

Enhancement Highlights

NEW FEATURES

  • Dashboard
    • now includes a Print icon in each KPI panel to launch the report for the dates or range selected.
    • now has horizontal and vertical scrollbars.
  • Configure Dashboard and Configure KPI
    • now support the selection of a report to link to the KPI panel.
    • now indicate which axis requires a numeric data type or aggregate according to the chart type.

Other Enhancements

  • The Purchase Requisition import template has been modified to clarify the instructions. No functional change.
  • The Purchase Requisition report now shows the requesting entity in advanced filters.

Fixes

  • Duplicated reports did not subtotal groups other than the report footer. Note that any report not subtotaling will need to add the Sum aggregate back to the appropriate columns on the layout tab.
  • Importing inventory receipts was not creating a receipt for each PO in the import file.
  • Modifying a user record gave a "Password is required" error forcing the password to be re-entered.
  • Transfers were not working for kits.
  • Mobile
    • did not display the Home message when tapped.
    • Serialized Kits
      • was stuck in an endless loop when updating contents and there was insufficient quantity on hand.
      • could edit the contents of a kit that was issued or in transit.
