Release Notes for version 6.2021.11.10

This is a partial list of enhancements and fixes included with this release.

This release includes an update for the ToolHound Mobile app. Ensure your server is updated before updating your mobile device.

Enhancement Highlights

  • Change Item Status - added to allow changing of a serialized item's status
  • Close Project - will now return any issued items before creating adjustments
  • Import Data - Purchase Requisition and Inventory Receipt imports added
  • Import Data - Serialized Item import now supports two alternate ids for each item being imported
  • Inventory Adjustment Report - add inventory status column
  • Issue / Return - allow user to enter quantity to return when using the issued items dialog
  • Issue / Return - service due messages include details of task(s) and due date(s)
  • Jobs - load only active jobs initially with option to show all jobs
  • Location Services - added DEWALT® TOOL CONNECT interface
  • Part Number - added Transaction Rental Rates and Transfer Rental Rates tabs to view rental rates
  • Receive Inventory - make the work flow better by automatically moving cursor to Item ID entry and using the last inventory status as a default
  • Receive Inventory - highlight items already received in green
  • Transaction History - allow grid columns to be rearranged
  • Pick Transfer Request now includes the Billing Location and the Billing Date
  • Notifications - added service due notification
  • Mobile
    • Requisitions - can now view details of an existing open requisition
    • Change Item ID - added ability to change an item ID
    • Item Lookup - now shows current and previous entity
    • Item Lookup - can now view rental rates
    • Item Lookup - shows transfer number if serialized item is in transit
    • Added support for CS108 bar code and RFID scanning
    • Issue / Return - service due messages include details of task(s) and due date(s)

Fixes

  • Inventory Adjustment - was not showing inventory status for reinstated items
  • Issue / Return - was allowing items with a status that was not set as Can Issue to be issued
  • Issue / Return - was updating quantity on hand even when return status was not set to Update QOH
  • Close Count - was not printing Discrepancy report when checked
  • Locations - you could not load an inactive location unless the location tree included inactive locations
  • Recycle Bin - was clearing screen even if the item could not be deleted
  • Reports - you couldn't use IS / IS NOT NULL filtering
  • Users - user name and password appeared disabled when adding a new record
