About the Home page

The Home page is visible when you first log in and remains visible even when all open pages are closed.

The Home page displays

  • the Message panel showing static information to all users, similar to a bulletin board. If no messages have been configured, the panel will be blank.
  • the Favorites panel listing shortcuts to menu options both added by users or assigned to their role. If no menu options have been added, a message will be displayed to that effect.
  • the Links panel listing shortcuts to sites outside of ToolHound both added by users or assigned to their role.
  • the update version installed and the date it was applied.
  • a link to the Release Notes listing all updates. Click the link for the update to view the enhancement highlights and fixes in that release.
    The last update version, date it was installed, and link to the Release Notes are displayed for a week after the update is installed.
