About Two-Factor Authentication for TH6 Mobile

Two-Factor Authentication is accessed by tapping 
at the top left to access the Menu. This screen is used to both enable and disable two factor authentication (2FA) for the currently logged in user. 2FA is an additional layer of authentication for your user login on top of a password using a time limited, single use code supplied by an authenticator app on a different device, usually your phone, when logging in. Whether 2FA is enabled in the browser or in TH6 Mobile, it applies all logins for that user.
Enable 2 Factor Authentication
This is displayed when 2FA is not configured for the user.
- Tap Set up authenticator. Options to set up a new account including a QR Code and Manual entry key will be displayed.
- Open your authenticator app and add a new account.
- In the authenticator app, scan the QR Code (if using a separate device) or enter the Manual entry key. A validation code will be displayed in your authenticator app.
- Enter the Validation Code displayed in your authenticator app in the text box. Tap Verify & Enable. Tap OK. At your next login, you will be prompted to supply the code from the authenticator app in addition to either entering your password or selecting your SSO option (Microsoft or Google).
Disable 2 Factor Authentication
This is displayed only when 2FA has previously been configured for this user login.
- Tap Disable two-factor authentication.
- Tap Yes on the confirmation message.
