Creating a Service Request on TH6 Mobile

Watch this video for a walkthrough of adding a service request on TH6 Mobile.
  1. Tap Service, then Service Request from the main screen menu.
  2. Tap on the top right of the Service Request screen.
  3. Enter, scan, or lookup the Item ID requiring service. The Part Number, Description, and Serial Number for the item will be displayed.
  4. Define the type of service requested.
    1. Select the Task most closely related to the requested service.
    2. Select a Priority for the work order to be created.
    3. Select a requested Status.
  5. Explain the problem.
    1. Tap Problem at the top of the screen.
    2. Enter the detailed description of the Problem necessitating the service.
  6. Add photos to explain the problem, if desired. Photos are saved as attachments on the work order.
    1. Tap Photos at the top of the screen.
    2. Add each picture to the service request.
      1. Select the picture to attach to the service request.
        • Tap at the top right of the screen to take a photo using the device's camera.
        • Tap at the top right of the screen to select a picture on the device.
      2. Enter the Description for the picture and tap OK.
  7. Tap at the top right to save the service request. A work order will be assigned and displayed in the confirmation message. Tap OK.
