Completion tab for Work Orders
The Completion tab is used to record the work done and any meter reading, if applicable, and close the work order. Once the work order is closed, the service history is updated for the item and future service due dates or readings are calculated. Closed work orders cannot be edited other than the Notes and Charges.
Fields on this tab include:
Failure code | Optionally include a failure code. |
Work Done | Enter the description of the work completed on the item. Up to 255 characters. |
Meter Reading | For reading only tasks, enter the meter reading at the time of service. |
Meter for Reading | Displays the meter for reading from the assigned task. |
Closed Date | Displays the date the work order was closed. This date can only be set when the status is changed to Completed (or equivalent) and prior to saving the work order. It defaults to the current date but can be overridden. |
Closed By User | Displays the user that closed the work order. |
Actual Material Cost | Carried from the Total for the Material section on the Charges tab. Read-only. |
Act. Labor Cost | Carried from the Total for the Labor section on the Charges tab. Read-only. |
Actual External Cost | Carried from the Total for the Vendors section on the Charges tab. Read-only. |
Total Cost | Displays the sum of the material, labor and external costs calculated automatically. Read-only. |
