Adding Part Numbers

Click Inventory > Part Numbers. Click +​ to add a new record. Enter the minimum required information: Part Number, Description, Inventory Type and Visibility Location. For non-serialized inventory types, the Item ID is also required.

Looking Up Part Numbers

Click Inventory > Part Numbers. Enter any known information about the part number such as a specific inventory type (bulk, consumable, etc.) or category. Click Search.

Editing Part Numbers

This is most frequently used to change a part number, change a description, or add information such as a category or vendors. Most information on a part number can be modified or changed except the inventory type and whether it is a kit.

Adding a Picture to a Part Number

A picture can be added as a new part is being created or it can be added later to existing part numbers. Tip Best practice is to use a lower resolution photo, image, or picture with a smaller file size to avoid any negative impact to performance. Images are limited to a maximum size of 28.6MB.

Deleting a Part Number

Deleting a part number sends it, and all associated items, to the Recycle Bin. Part Numbers with any type of associated history cannot be permanently deleted from the Recycle Bin.
