Logging In to TH6 Mobile

TH6 Mobile supports logging in with a combination of user name and password or using SSO (single sign on) when available.

Logging in with a Password

Once TH6 Mobile settings have been configured with the server and company alias, log in with the same User Name and Password used to access ToolHound 6 in the browser. Mobile Only users will need to contact their ToolHound administrator for this information.

  1. Type your User Name.
  2. Type your Password.
If only a single user is using the TH6 Mobile app on this device, tap the toggle switch beside Remember Me? on the first login to retain the login details.
  1. Tap Log In. The Main Menu will be displayed unless your organization has multiple stocking locations.
    1. If the organization has more than one stocking point, tap to select which stocking point will be used for all transactions, inquiries, and lookups on the Select Stocking Point screen then tap at the top right. The Home screen will then be displayed.

Once Remember Me is toggled, all you need to do is tap Log In.

To reset a password, tap Forgot / Reset Password. An link will be sent to the email address on the user record in order to reset your password. If no email address is saved on the user record, contact the ToolHound administrator for your organization.
Logging in with SSO

In organizations where SSO (single sign on) is enabled, you might still have the option to log in with your user name and password as well as using SSO.

To log in using SSO:

  1. Tap either Google or Microsoft to log in with the corresponding account.

Logging in with 2FA in addition to either a Password or SSO

Use these instructions to log in once you have configured 2FA (two factor authentication) for your login.

For any questions about or problems with the authenticator app used by your organization, contact your internal ToolHound administrator.
  1. Follow the instructions to login for either method above. A message will be displayed to asking you to enter the two factor authentication code from your authentication app.
  2. Launch the authenticator app on your phone or other device.
  3. Type the code displayed in the authenticator app for your ToolHound 6 user account into the Validation Code text box.
  4. Tap Validate.
