Return Transactions for Inventory

Watch this video on checking out and returning inventory in the browser and in the Mobile app.
  1. Click Transactions in the left side menu bar and click Issue / Return.
  2. Remove the check Use Current Date & Time? to manually enter a date and/or time other than the current.
  3. Select the Stocking Location of the item.
  4. Scan/Select the Entity that will return the item.
  5. Select Return from the Transaction Type drop-down List.
  6. Select a Return Status from the drop-down list.
  7. Enter a Reference and/or Notes if needed.
  8. Scan the Item(s) to be issued in the Item ID field or press Issued Inventory to find all items issued to that entity and select one or more.
  9. Enter any other field if required.
  10. Adjust the Quantity to be returned as required in the Qty box in the grid below by either using the arrows in the field to increase or decrease the number, or selecting the whole row and entering the quantity and hitting the Tab key for Bulk or Consumable items. Serialized items will have a quantity of 1 only.
  11. Repeat Steps 8-10 if needed for additional items to be returned.
  12. Check Print Receipt when Processing? if needed.
  13. Press to process the return.
